Roger Robinson's brilliantly twisted parodies are fast paced yet disciplined writing style. Adventures in 3D satirises relationships, love, authority family and friends. It is so funny because it is full of the precision that the prism of mockery can provide hence the book is most humorous when it clings to reality. One way Roger creates this sharp cutting humour is situational irony. He leads readers to expect one event then jerks him/her back sharply the other way by having his characters do or say the opposite.
