We're seeking to create an atmosphere in which friendly and mature discussion takes place. Our rules are designed to protect all users by making sure the chat rooms are safe and fun for everyone.

Using the chat rooms

Do's
In order to help everyone enjoy the service, keep your contributions relevant and respectful of others (even if you don't agree with them).
Be tolerant, courteous and patient with users who have different cultural origins, viewpoints, ages and abilities.
Keep your contributions short.

Don'ts
No flaming under any circumstances! Unlawful, harassing, abusive, defamatory, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive, or otherwise objectionable material is not acceptable.
No spam, advertising or irrelevant posts are allowed.
You should never reveal any personal information about yourself (for example: your telephone number, your address or location), or other users.

The law
You may not post defamatory or illegal material of any nature to the chat rooms.
It is strictly prohibited to post a message with the intention of committing an illegal act.
You must be the copyright holder of any material you contribute or have obtained permission from the copyright holder to distribute the material by electronic means.
You must not violate the rights of third parties by infringing their trademark, trade secret, privacy, personal, publicity, or proprietary rights.

Privacy
Our registration process requires you to supply us with your email details, but we will only use this information to validate your access to the discussions and other administration purposes.
We will not publish or provide your email address to any other organisation.
You can opt in to receive posts by email or information about our activities and services but you can change these options at any time. You will also be entitled to delete the information we hold about you at any time.

Under 18 years old
Never reveal any personal information about yourself (for example: your telephone number, mobile phone number, school name, home address, email address or your present location).
Please get your parents' permission before taking part in our chat rooms.

Failure to observe these terms and conditions will result in either a warning email, temporary exclusion or permanent exclusion from the chat rooms. Correspondence may not be entered into. We reserve the right to exclude anyone or delete posts at any time for any reason.

Use of this site constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions. Changes to these rules will be posted online and it is the user's responsibility to check for changes. Continued use after any changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of revised terms and conditions.
