INTERVIEW MARGARET ELPHINSTONE
Scottish historical writer Margaret Elphinstone (below) is the latest writer to take part in our ongoing series of EnCompass Author Interviews - and as usual, we want you to help us ask the questions! Margaret has published eight novels, as well as short stories and poetry. Her latest novel, The Gathering Night, set among the hunter-gatherers of Mesolithic Scotland, is a story of conflict, loss, love, adventure and devastating natural disaster. So if you fancy finding out more about her work, the way she writes, or where she finds her inspiration, it's easy to take part. Just pop over to our discussion thread and post your question(s) by Friday 6th August (or email them to readerinresidnce@encompassculture.com). The resulting interview will appear on site the following week.
